Patients that have more severe concerns such as sunken or droopy fat pads might need to think about a lower eyelid lift to get the results they want. In most cases, patients can see immediate under eye rejuvenation after both blepharoplasties and hyaluronic injectables. However, post-treatment swelling is common in the sensitive area below the eyes for several days to several weeks. While blepharoplasty surgery often produces lifelong results, injectable fillers will typically need to be repeated after 1-2 years.
