Upper eyelid surgery is done safely under a local anesthetic and takes less than an hour to perform. Dr. Karolak uses his skill, artistry, and experience to produce a younger, more alert appearance by thinning fat pads, removing excess skin, and tightening underlying muscles. Each procedure is customized for the individual patient allowing Dr. Karolak to preserve optimal volume and the patient’s natural eye contours.
